The official statement on the new V6 engine
Chrysler has published a communication on the new technologies that will be used in its cars. These are familiar to us all supercharged engines from Fiat , 6-speed gearbox and DDCT hybrid system, which will be used in Dodgu Ram 1500.
For us, certainly the most interesting innovation is the Pentastar V6 engine, which in future will be able to be used in cars Group Fiat , including Alfa Romeo. The new V6 will debut in the second quarter of 2011 jeep Grand Cherokee. It will have a capacity of 3.6 liters and used technologies such as direct injection and MultiAir. Its maximum power will be 280 hp and 353 Nm of torque. 90% of that time will be available in the 1800-6400 rpm.
In the future, the engine can be used turbocharger.

None of the V6 engine does not match Busso, it was the last piece of the true heritage of Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo ... today.

I doubt that here it was a honor, pride, and raised his head again ... probably some resentment, but fascism is over and we have capitalism. Why Fiat is to invest euros and dollars in the design and development of engines as the Chrysler Busso get for free?
What does not change the fact that it would prefer to see Busso under the hood, but this time we have and the time to accept it ...
