Alfa Romeo Giulia - successor to 159 in 2011?
At least, say British journalists from the store Car Magazine .
Auto aims to build on the same platform as Giulietta , of course, suitably modified. Front suspension is McPherson struts at the rear axle is to find a Multilink suspension. Another interesting news is that Giulia is to be applied a new V6 engine technology Multiair (Pentastar V6 from Chrysler's ?). Like the 159 Giulia is to be offered in two versions bodystyles, sedan and Sportwagon.
Unfortunately, as claimed by the British Giulia continues to be driven on the front axle, while the more powerful engine versions will be equipped with drive Q4.
The design phase is to be the Giulia GTA, of course, with a 3.0-liter V6 under the hood. Would have improved drive Q4, and legitimize the power of 300HP transferred to the wheels via a dual-clutch gearbox with seven ratios.
Of British Car Magazine also mentions rumors that says that the Alfa Romeo pondering the creation odelżonej Giulia version with the release of Q2 Autodelty power 350km.
So if the above information prove true, and next year will see the successor to the Alfa 159 ? Let's hope so:)

3.0 V6? If so, this is a completely new engine (minus), because this is from Chrysler 3.6 (not looking in the archives). Chest TCT supports up to 350 Nm, Mito Multiair is 250 Nm ... That is probably also would have to make a new one. In one year behind the news and everything because of one model? In today's reality it seems unlikely, in my opinion strongly stretched rumor.

it seems to me that it is a matter of Pentastar a 3.0 engine is a simple shorthand / English translations from the "three litter engine" ... on the other hand, if it was a new engine is alpha, consistent with the proposition downsizingu and to that of Standard gas installation, the success would have a brick ...

In writing about the 3.0 engine had in mind as 3.6 and the power of 300 horses and it can be zaokrąglnenie 290, because so many has to have a new v6 of Chrysler. As for the box it may be sufficient some minor modifications, either, and these will not have to be used because Pentastar v6 is to have 353Nm of torque. But who knows, p As far divination with tea leaves p

These characteristics make sense when it comes to version Giulia GTA, as long as is lighter than the 159 by about 100 - 150 kg ... I hope that it will be burning more to things than the 159 V6 ...

Gulietta is relatively light so very likely to inherit and Giulia are not overweight at the 159th As for burning I do not think that anyone buying a car with a V6 engine with a capacity of close to 300 horses will be looked mechanically for incineration;)

I do not know if smoking the old Pentastar 3.8, but wrote that the combustion in the new 3.6 is 20% smaller. Supercharged V6 may in future replace the current V8.
