Wester Harald: No BMW, Audi is not only the Volkswagen ...

Quattroroute conducted an extensive interview with Harald Wester, CEO of Maserati and Alfa Romeo. Was asked, that each Alfista asking themselves for a long time: Who is the biggest competitor for the Alfa Romeo brand? "I have no doubt that this is a Volkswagen . I mean the Volkswagen brand. Not BMW , not Audi , Volkswagen only said Wester.

    Look at Giuletty prices - are at VW! Surprisingly low.

    And if something you like in this new Alfie does not like?
    How do I browsed the prices could not believe that these engines give / grazing for this price. AR147 was much more expensive, and Giuletta is certainly a stronger / more emerged / bigger.

    Fiat conglomerate according to me there is no more than the engine RWD platform. Already in the compact class, it shows. Golf R, Cupra R, Mazda 3 MPS, Focus RS.     um ... probably just Fiat group has the specific gains, or sale of sale and once again for sale. premium brand sales are lower (see VW Audi). if I remember correctly it plans to alpha is to be a premium brand. only no one has yet said when. I'm sure this happens, but not now.

    Do not be indignant. Design, history and good intentions are not everything.
    Take the range of models, engines, equipment, quality of service in the showrooms and repair stations - is it premium? three models on the cross, the whole year last only diesel cars in the way of the supposed "sport". While Fiat is acceptable dupowozowe capacity so much already in Alfach choice should be made available additional engines (supercharged benzyniak small - can be 1.8TBI, large supercharged diesel - 3.2 JTDM say, and a large gas - let's 3.6V6 or 3.2V8 with modern adds the possibility of compressor) Unfortunately, such engines are missing so instead of paying for Alpha that loses.     As far as I remember, the Quattroporte with the previous year already 80 people represented only a segment of E and seven years ago has grown. If a new model that Maserati was 159 on steroids experienced this with great gusto I would switched to something. Now I have a 159ti 3.2V6 4 × 4 and in general the car is great, but the lack of the 40km very effectively ruins the taste of the whole car ...
